Arcadis has been awarded a requirements contract to provide architecture and engineering services for New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services facilities in Manhattan and the Bronx. The work will support municipal assets across both boroughs as DCAS issues individual task orders under the agreement.

The initial contract term is three years, with an optional three-year renewal and a possible one-year extension. Arcadis did not disclose the contract’s financial value, and the announcement does not identify a total capital budget for the facilities that may receive work. The award is a completed procurement outcome, not an open solicitation.

Gerald Forsburg, a senior architect at Arcadis, is identified as the project manager. Ellen Wright, an Arcadis principal and North America government and civic practice group manager, said the assignment builds on the firm’s work with public agencies. The release describes services spanning planning, design and delivery for city facilities.

The next milestones will come through DCAS work orders, but Arcadis did not announce a date for the first authorization. For architecture, engineering and specialty partners, the contract signals a multiyear pipeline of municipal assignments while leaving specific scopes, budgets and downstream opportunities to future task orders.
