MnDOT Invites Input on Highway 210 Corridor at October 29 Open House

The Battle Lake meeting and online survey will inform a long-term study between Fergus Falls and Hewitt.

Infrastructure and the built environment

MnDOT is inviting feedback on a Highway 210 corridor study between I-94 in Fergus Falls and U.S. Highway 71 in Hewitt, Minnesota. Its October 8, 2026, announcement identifies safety, mobility and connectivity as priorities for long-term planning.

An open house in Battle Lake will let residents, businesses and road users discuss concerns and potential improvements. People can also use the project’s online survey and interactive map to share location-specific feedback.

Key dates & requirements

  • Meeting: Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 4 to 6:30 p.m.; attendees may stop in at any time.
  • Location: Battle Lake City Hall, 108 Main Street East.
  • Stage: Corridor study and public engagement; the announcement does not confirm a funded construction package.

Next steps

Businesses, freight operators and local governments can identify access constraints, difficult intersections and safety concerns using the official project page and feedback tools. Bring specific locations and operating needs to the meeting so the study team can evaluate them.
