MnDOT announced a full Highway 52 closure for pedestrian and bicycle bridge work in South St. Paul, Minnesota, beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2026. Reopening is scheduled for 5 a.m. Monday, October 12.
Both directions close between Thompson Avenue and Concord Street/Cesar Chavez Street in St. Paul. Crews will paint the new bridge and perform utility and pavement work. The wider project includes trail connections and improvements at the east end of Stickney Avenue.
