Schneider, Wärtsilä and Stanley Coordinate Onsite Power for AI Data Centers

A coordinated delivery approach brings generation, electrical systems and engineering into the same AI campus plan.

Source announcement: September 30, 2026

Schneider Electric, Wärtsilä and Stanley Consultants announced a coordinated approach to U.S. data center power delivery on September 30. The partners aim to align onsite generation, electrical infrastructure, automation and project execution around AI load requirements.

Wärtsilä supplies modular engine power plants; Schneider contributes electrical architecture and digital power management; Stanley provides engineering, permitting, construction management and commissioning oversight. The announcement presents an approach to project delivery, rather than confirming completion of a particular campus.

Infraday’s analysis: integrating these responsibilities early could reduce gaps between power plant and data hall schedules. Owners still need site-specific permitting, operating arrangements and commissioning evidence before translating a delivery model into a dependable opening date.
