Vertiv’s Planned KES Acquisition Expands Liquid-Cooling Commissioning Services

The proposed acquisition would add European fluid management, load testing and commissioning expertise.

Source announcement: September 24, 2026

Vertiv announced an agreement to acquire King Environmental Services on September 24. KES supplies fluid management, commissioning and load-testing services for high-density, liquid-cooled data centers and other applications.

Vertiv expects the transaction to extend its thermal services capabilities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The announcement builds on its North American fluid management presence and describes a planned acquisition; it does not establish that the transaction has closed.

Infraday’s analysis: AI cooling deployment requires field capability as well as equipment. Fluid quality, flow validation and load testing influence whether a system meets its design conditions. Expanding these services addresses a practical part of the handover from construction teams to operators.
